Through photography I seek to produce an emotional impact. Spirit of place and the essence of the individual are elements I explore through my craft. My artwork tells stories; stories of places and people. I strive to experience the everyday more deeply and then communicate what I’ve found with others. In addition to the things i’ve tick this link here now already mentioned, I like to just take a few deep breaths and ask a higher power or source to channel through me the information that the particular audience to whom i’m speaking needs to hear
The necessity and beauty of connection is an essential theme, deeply embedded at times, in my art. I have found photography a way to see the world in a peaceful, meaningful and transcendent fashion. My camera acts as “a finger that points to the moon” to use a Buddhist adage.
